Collection contains original art-deco commercial art and cartoons by Millar including work for the "Virginia Reel" at the University of Virginia, and the "Washington Post" as well as cartoons and drawings pertaining to World War I and Washington, D.C. University of Virginia work consists of pen and ink illustrations for the front cover of Virginia Reel and pen and ink drawings labelled "law," "athletics," "medicine," "engineering," and "fraternities." With these are two sets of sample colored proofs labeled "engineering" and "academics." World War I cartoons mock Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Kaiser and Bolshevism.
